I am a PhD Economist at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. I monitor emerging risks in the U.S. economy, with a focus on how they could affect the banking industry. My research is applied, and focuses on the intersection between labor and banking.

I earned my PhD from The University of Texas in 2015. My field work was in Labor Economics and Public Finance, and I also completed coursework in applied Econometrics and Industrial Organizations. My dissertation research focused on the impact of state-level educational policies on human capital accumulation for students before the end of high school.
